Does Good News Christian Academy offer the same subjects as public schools?

GNCA offers many of the same subjects but puts a greater emphasis on the fundamental, core subjects in preparation for college.   The academy offers a variety of music electives such as handbells and youth choirs.

Is Good News Christian Academy accredited?

GNCA is certified by the state of Virginia as a religiously exempt educational facility.  GNCA meets all requirements of the Virginia Department of Social Services to operate a preschool/daycare.

Does Good News Christian Academy have chapel and Bible classes? If so, how often?
A.
GNCA students have age-appropriate Bible instruction as an integral part of their daily curriculum.

What is the teacher/student ratio at Good News Christian Academy?
A.
GNCA strictly follows the teacher/student ratio guidelines of the Virginia Department of Social Services.  Ages 2-1/2 to 4 have a teacher/student ration of 1:10, plus teacher’s assistants and parent volunteers.
